Dream All-American | Team Kentucky FBU | Battle of the Regions Leadership Award Winner

Christian Ballard is a hard-nosed, physical running back who combines size, strength, and speed to dominate on both sides of the ball. He runs with power, balance, and determination—breaking tackles consistently and finishing runs with authority. In the open field, he has the burst to separate from defenders, making him one of the toughest players to bring down in his class. His vision and field awareness allow him to read blocking lanes effectively and turn small openings into big plays.

Defensively, Christian is equally effective as a middle linebacker, playing with a high motor and excellent instincts. His ability to diagnose plays, shed blocks, and make form tackles in space makes him a dual-threat impact player. A proven leader, he has earned multiple accolades including the Leadership Award at the Battle of the Regions, a state-level acknowledgment of achievement, and was a key contributor to Team Kentucky’s 5th-place national finish at the FBU 6th Grade Nationals.

PUTTING IN

THE WORK

I’m a hard-nosed running back who loves to play physical and compete every down. I run hard and try to make every play count. I like breaking tackles, fighting for extra yards, and showing my speed when I get into the open field. I trust my blockers and try to find holes fast so I can turn small runs into big plays.

On defense, I play middle linebacker. I like hitting, reading plays, and getting to the ball quick. I go all out every snap and try to be a leader for my team. I want to make the big stop or big play that changes the game.

Some of my favorite moments were helping Team Kentucky finish 5th in the nation at the FBU 6th Grade Nationals and winning the Leadership Award at the Battle of the Regions. I also got an achievement award from the state of Kentucky for football, which meant a lot to me.

I look up to Nick Chubb because he runs hard and never gives up. My goal is to keep getting better, stay coachable, and work hard so I can reach my dreams.
